Tribute Concert

I have some exciting news to share. As you may know, a few years ago I stopped performing after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.  Over the summer, three bands full of my musical friends cooked up a plan to have a “tribute’ concert of my songs and comedy, with Your Truly as the Guest of Honor.

The concert date will be Saturday, January 28 at 7:30 at the historic Whiteside Theater in Corvallis.  Doors will open at 7:00, and seating is General Admission.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, December 1st at GrassRoots Book Store and Troubadour Music in Corvallis,

and online at www.tickettomato.com

The event is sponsored by the Corvallis Folklore Society, whose members receive a $2 discount.  Advance tickets are $20.  Add $5 at the door.

The Concert line-up includes our long-time vocalist Audrey Perkins with her band Swing and a Ms., plus The Flow with Rita Brown and Bill Smyth, and the Plaehn-Hino Band with special guests Creighton Lindsay and Bret Godfrey. The host will be MC David Grube. It promises to be an evening full of surprises and great music. I hope you can join us.

Songbook

Ater much dawdling, I am finally putting out a book of my songs titled, not surprisingly, The Neal Gladstone Songbook.

The Songbook includes 30 Gladstone songs with guitar and/or piano accompaniment. It will be released just in time for the holidays and will make the perfect stocking stuffer for the people with especially wide and flat feet.

Grassroots and Troubadour will be selling them just in time for the holidays.  Along with tickets to the Neal Gladstone Tribute Show on Jan 28, also for sale at GrassRoots and Troubadour, it might make a great stocking stuffer for the Gladstone fan on your list.
